One summer day 1999, just as usual, the five members of the Berliner Philharmoniker gathered and the jazz session spontaneously started. Their feelings matched and created such splendid ensemble, and the session continued until the morning sun rose.
That was exactly the moment when Berlin Philharmonic Jazz Group saw the light of day!
Each of all the five young members who habitually practice the highest levels music as classic musicians, have achieved great successes in the world of jazz even before organizing Berlin Philharmonic Jazz Group, such as the invitations to perform in Montreux, Den Haag and the other major jazz festivals.¡¡Nowadays they include their various music experiences of wide range of music genres, such as bebop, Latin music, modern jazz and even original songs in their programs. Berlin Philharmonic Jazz Group also acquired original sound by the unique combination of the instruments; violin, trumpet, viola, vibraphone, double bass and drums.
